The aim of the International Court for the Environment would be the promotion, development, determination and enforcement of environmental law at the international level.
At its heart, the campaign to establish the ICE is based on the recognition that the principal causes and effects of the world’s major environmental problems are international in nature and so require solutions which are also international.
