This, the third in a series of conferences held in conjunction with the Global Policy Institute and co-funded by the European Commission in London, examines the current state of Coalition policy towards the euro.

The conference series is entitled ‘The Coalition’s European Policy after the honeymoon’. The objective of these conferences is to review the European policy of the Coalition in its second year, examining in particular the growing internal and external strains upon the compromises which have until now underpinned its actions within the European Union.

This conference, The UK and the euro, looks at these strains particularly in the light of the continuing economic crisis. The speakers are as follows:
